Shaun McCallum

Artist - Food Processor - Invasive Species

Shaun McCallum's work is created using a variety of printmaking and drawing techniques including photogravure, intaglio, and woodcut. He uses a modified version of these mediums to investigate humanity's drive to process, relabel, and understand its surroundings.

He received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University in 2008, and his MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012. The subject matter within his prints has been inspired by growing up surrounded by rural farmland, an obsession with food and nature, and the cultural importance of processed foods in the U.S. Shaun currently lives and works in Greenville, SC, and can usually be found at Good Art Co.
